Following a successful Pickleball Cup at Willoughby, competitive pickleball is coming to the Central Coast. The Pickleball Cup Gosford takes place 2–3 May 2026 at Gosford Tennis Club, 10/13 Racecourse Rd, Gosford NSW and it marks the first time the tournament series has headed to this part of New South Wales.
Hosted by Voyager Tennis, the two-day event is open to players of all competition levels, from those stepping into their first tournament through to seasoned competitive athletes. Whether you’re looking to test yourself against others at your skill level or simply enjoy a weekend of great pickleball, this is the event for you.
What’s on across the weekend
The tournament features DUPR-rated doubles divisions across three categories; Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles with each split into three skill brackets: DUPR 2.99 & under, 3.0–3.49, and 3.5 and above.
Saturday 2 May kicks off with Women’s Doubles from 10:00am, followed by Men’s Doubles from 1:30pm. Sunday 3 May is dedicated to Mixed Doubles, starting at 10:30am.
Every player is guaranteed a minimum of three games per event. Medals and HUSTL accessories will be awarded to first and second place in each bracket.
Format and rules
The tournament runs in a round robin format. Pools of five or fewer teams play to 15 points; pools of six or more play to 11. The top two teams from each pool advance to the finals.
Semi-finals and medal matches are played to 15 points, win by 2. Tiebreakers are decided by total points won, followed by head-to-head result.
All play follows the Global Pickleball Federation Rulebook 2025.
How to enter
Players can enter a maximum of two events, with each entry in a different category for which one gendered doubles and one mixed doubles event. An active DUPR ID linked to your Pickleball.com profile is required to register.
Players are asked to arrive 30 minutes before their event start time. In the event of wet weather, the tournament will be rescheduled to another weekend.
