What I love about Tennis?

After playing a high level of cricket as a junior, I love that tennis has reinvigorated my passion to compete and get better at something every day, at this stage of my career. Having spent 20 years in hospitality & business ownership, I picked up a racquet again during Covid and haven’t put it down since! Learning a skill that is very difficult can be extremely rewarding. I love both the physical and mental challenges it presents, and its a fantastic sport for keeping you both socially and physically active.

What I love about Tennis?

Tennis was love at first sight ever since I dedicated my life to tennis, it was the sport that built who I am today, it brought me discipline, commitment and hard work. It also gave me the opportunity to meet incredible people on and off the court and today being able to work with what I love the most in life is a unique feeling.

What I love about tennis?
The fact that on the court players have to use technical, physical, mental and strategy skills trying to solve problems that the opponent presents resembling a lot of how life is off the court when we have to deal with challenges to overcome and grow as a person. All the skills that are learnt and improved during tennis practices, matches, tournaments and travels develop players into better people which is beneficial for the player on and off the court doesn’t matter what path in life the player chooses to follow as well as it creates a better place for everyone around.

What I love about tennis?
When you are playing a tennis match, you can either win or lose a point. When you are playing the game of life, the same thing happens. What I love about Tennis?
Tennis continues to keep me fit and healthy whilst allowing me to have many amazing experiences and meet new people within the tennis community. Tennis not only teaches players how to approach the physical, mental, technical and tactical aspects of the game but also the challenges of overcoming difficulties and other skills for outside the court that are truly transferable to real life. Tennis has granted me the opportunity to travel the world, gain a US College education and has opened up many. Perhaps most importantly, it is a game that can be played for life, and will continue to be a vehicle to enjoy being active and healthy while making lifelong friends.
