What you love about Tennis?
The constant dialogue between physical intensity and mental chess. As a player, I lived for the adrenaline of a perfectly timed winner and the grind of a long baseline rally. Now, as a coach, that love has evolved into a passion for the mechanics behind the magic.
I’m energized by the challenge of breaking down a complex stroke into something a student can master, and there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a player finally “click” with their footwork or find their serve’s true power. For me, the sport is a lifelong pursuit of rhythm and resilience; I love that I can now share the technical secrets and the strategic mindset that made me successful on the court with the next generation of players.

I have been playing tennis since I was 8 years old. During my junior career, I competed in several national and international tournaments before deciding to focus on coaching. I also competed in the Italian third division which gave me strong technical and tactical knowledge of the game.

2020-2024 as a tennis coach at Circolo Tennis Albinea (ITA), specialized in orange and green ball development programs, Our teams won regional competitions and qualified for the national finals. I gained valuable experience working with players of all ages and levels.

2024-2025 at Notari Sport Club Montecchio (ITA) as the Head of Tennis, where I was responsible for organizing training programs, managing coaches, and overseeing all tennis activities at the club.

What you love about Tennis?
The best part about tennis is watching people have fun and get better every time they step on court. I love being part of their journey, helping them improve, and seeing their passion grow.

Juan Pablo Colombi

Qualifications
AAT Professional 3 Tennis Coach
ITF Level 1
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (in progress) – 46/47 subjets completed

Playing History
I am originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and began playing tennis at the age of 8. With over 20 years in the sport, I competed in numerous national tournaments as a junior and represented my club in Argentina’s top-level Interclub competitions. At 18, I started my professional coaching career while continuing to play Interclub matches and Prize Money tournaments in Argentina and later in China, always trying to stay fit and competitive on court.

I have worked at prestigious clubs in Buenos Aires, including Darling Tennis Club and Venado Country Club, where I led the junior teams from 2020 to 2023. That same year I moved to China for almost 2 years, focusing on juniors and high-performance players while also sparring with ITF Junior and M15 competitors. I have traveled with players to major tournaments in Argentina and China, achieving important championships and valuable experiences that shaped my coaching and playing career.

What you love about Tennis?
What I love most about tennis is helping players improve by sharing everything I have learned through my own experience. I enjoy guiding them not only with what worked for me, but also through the things I could have done better, so they can grow faster and avoid the same mistakes. Seeing their progress on and off the court is what motivates me every day,

Player History
I competed in many regional tournaments (State of São Paulo) and reached the highest competitive level in the state.
Per many times I ended the year among the top 8 in the category and was able to participate in the tournament among the best of the year. I was champion on one of the occasions.
I competed in very high level UTR tournaments. I always had good results, being champion of one of them.

As a coach, I gave classes for all levels in renowned academies in São Paulo.

I had my work recognized several times, such as when I was invited to manage one of these academies and when the largest medical school in the state invited me to be a coach and follow the team in competitions.

I followed this team for two years and we had the best results in the history of the college. The most representative being third place in 2022 in the biggest competition between medical schools in the state of São Paulo.

What I love about Tennis?
I love the fact that a tennis match is so similar to our daily lives. Every day we have to make decisions and we cannot allow our emotions to influence them.
We can’t blame someone else for our mistakes, we have to forgive ourselves and develop ourselves more every day to win in the game and also to be better people.

Over the years it has made me self-confident, and more practical, and helped in most aspects of my life. Moreover, tennis has taught me to make better decisions, compete, and be compassionate!. Also, it allows me to work in various parts of the world with multicultural players of different age groups. The best part about this sport is that you get to learn from every age group, “Learning never ends”.
Lastly, I just love working with kids because it gives me immense pleasure to watch them grow, learn and help them achieve their goals!!

It is called LOVE ALL before we start the match ( it’s a message to the world I feel)
I am a complete introvert person but tennis makes me extrovert and I love what I do so I do it with love and I really like it.
Tennis is one of the most powerful game of the world and If you play well then nothing can stop you(except you) from reaching to the top of the rankings.
People who play tennis together they show huge respect to each other during the gameplay and I love it too.
