Pickleball Cup Sydney 2026 Recap: Results & Highlights

The Pickleball Cup Sydney returned for its third edition on 4–5 July 2026, bringing a full weekend of competition, community spirit, and high-energy pickleball to Voyager Tennis Chatswood in Willoughby. Players competed across Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles divisions, with medals awarded in each bracket and minimum three games guaranteed per event.

A strong weekend of play

From the first serve to the final point, the tournament showcased the depth and growth of pickleball in Sydney. Across the two days, players were grouped into DUPR-based divisions so matches stayed competitive and every team had a fair shot.

The event format made for a busy but well-paced weekend, with Saturday dedicated to women’s and men’s doubles, and Sunday reserved for mixed doubles. As with the best local tournaments, the atmosphere was about more than just winning, with plenty of support on court and a real sense of community throughout.

Community and competition

One of the biggest strengths of the Pickleball Cup Sydney is how it brings together players of different levels for a weekend that feels organised, competitive and welcoming. The tournament’s structure helps create a positive experience for both experienced players and those still building confidence.

That mix of strong competition and friendly energy is part of what keeps the event such a standout on the local pickleball calendar. With the tournament now in its third edition, it’s clear it will continue to grow in profile and popularity.

Looking ahead

If the Pickleball Cup Sydney is any indication, the appetite for competitive pickleball in NSW is only getting stronger. Events like this not only crown winners, but also help build momentum for the sport by giving players a reason to return, improve, and stay connected to the community.

For players and supporters alike, it was another memorable weekend in Chatswood, and a strong reminder of how quickly pickleball continues to grow in Australia.
