I joined Voyager in January 2015 from a successful program in the UK, Voyager’s first overseas hire on a working holiday visa so some unknowns for both parties.

It was obvious straight away that our values & ambitions aligned, passionate about growing our sport & maximising player’s potential I knew this would be a long term career pathway for me so we quickly figured out sponsorship so I could become a permanent resident of Australia.

I quickly learned that running squads was very different from running a venue and managing a team of coaches. I always felt supported in the areas I felt I needed to develop to be successful in the role of a Head Tennis Professional.

After nearly 7 successful years at North Manly, Voyager offered me the opportunity to become Head of Performance Tennis in Singapore with their partners ActiveSG. The transition into coaching from my professional tennis career was smooth. My first full time coaching role was at Hunters Hill Club, where I eventually oversaw the tennis program there.
