Playing History
I have spent most of my life around tennis, first as a competitive player and later as a coach. Playing tournaments shaped my understanding of the game beyond technique. Over the years, I transitioned into coaching and now have more than six years of experience working with players ranging from beginners to high-performance juniors and ITF level athletes. My approach focuses on building strong fundamentals, match awareness, and long-term development of the player.
What you love about Tennis?
What I truly love about tennis is that it constantly tests both your body and your mind. Every match is a problem-solving exercise where no two situations are the same. Being on court, whether playing or coaching, gives me a sense of purpose, and helping players grow not just as athletes but as individuals is what keeps me deeply connected to the game.

What you love about Tennis?
Tennis is its perfect blend of mental strategy and physical skill. The sport teaches resilience through its solo nature; you have to rely on yourself to find solutions, stay calm under pressure, and fight for every point. It’s both humbling and empowering, which is what makes it so endlessly compelling.

What you love about Tennis?
What I really love about tennis is that the game itself allows the players to create a versatile and personal style.
In my experience, tennis became a lifestyle. A few years ago while studying in the University this sport gave me the opportunity to start working and focusing my efforts in being a better person and professional. Tennis also taught me really useful tools to develop my skills in many other sports.

What you love about Tennis?
Tennis is a wonderful medium to teach many lessons that are applicable both on and off the court. Many often speak of the growth of sportsmanship, perseverance, and work ethic. However, I owe much more to the sport. Through the sport, I have met friends from numerous cultures, have been granted the opportunity to travel, and now I have the pleasure of being a part of the journey for the future generation of tennis players!

What our Voyagers say about us.
I didn’t have any expectations starting the clinics at Voyager and I must say that this is now one of my favourite places to spend my time. The coaches are so friendly, professional, kind and full of fantastic energy. The clinics are always very well organised, and the diversity of coaching makes the time on court fly. I have improved my tennis skills by being coached by an amazing team.Thank you and my biggest recommendation for anyone that love playing tennis

My family recently made the move to Voyager from another tennis centre just over 6 months ago and I could not be happier with my decision! The team at Willis Park are AMAZING, the
coaching staff are actively engaged with the kids during lessons and the academy is well organised. The coaching team have a clear focus with class structures for junior and adult group lessons. To top it off, the facilities and courts are some of the nicest I have seen.

I was looking to improve my tennis as I haven’t played for years after being a full-time mum and have found the perfect place! The courts are impeccable, the coaches are amiable, approachable & always giving us % of their attention. I love the fact that the small groups (of 4 ladies) are organised according to ability rather than to just fill in the spot for profit sake. Every week, I look forward to the ladies clinic; the 2hr workout with 4 coaches and 3 other lovely ladies is a great way to start the week!

“I held a private pickleball event recently at Voyager…and it was a success! Many of our group members were brand new to the sport and Maria – our Voyager coach for the day – was very good with teaching the basics (and giving personalised tips for those of us who were more advanced with our paddle skills). Everyone had fun – we will definitely be back for more lessons!”

The private coaching sessions at Voyager are structured and designed to push and improve. My 11 year old son has improved noticeably over the last 10 months and we are pleased to continue with Tim and Alex at the helm.

“Voyager Tennis at Willoughby made it so easy to plan and run our corporate team event. Only one of the team had played Pickleball before but within 5 minutes or so, everyone was out on the courts having fun, laughing and it became a competition. The format of determining abilities and then running a round-robin worked great for our group. The team played for 2 hours and could have played longer, they were having so much fun so I’m sure they’ll want to go back.”

Love Voyager tennis! Fantastic professional coaching for all ages, ladies clinic for myself, Orange and yellow ball for my two boys. We have all improved greatly, so much quality learning mixed with A LOT of FUN!
