Three Days of Competitive Pickleball at Voyager Playford

The Adelaide Regional Pickleball Championships featured competition across singles and doubles events, with players competing in age and DUPR-based brackets.

Friday’s singles matches tested individual court coverage, movement and shot selection. Players had to manage rallies independently, adjusting their tactics to different opponents throughout the competition.

Saturday’s Men’s and Women’s Doubles events placed greater emphasis on teamwork, positioning and communication. Successful partnerships needed to coordinate their movement, manage the middle of the court and recognise opportunities to attack.

The tournament concluded on Sunday with Mixed Doubles, where players competed across six divisions, including the Open Mixed Doubles bracket.

The competition gave players opportunities to gain tournament experience, challenge themselves against unfamiliar opponents and work towards podium finishes.
