Padel Courts Are Coming to Playford
Something new is about to arrive at Voyager Tennis Playford.
Padel is coming to Playford this month, adding another way for the local community to pick up a racquet and get on court.
Four new padel courts are planned for the Playford Tennis Centre, joining the venue’s existing tennis and pickleball facilities. For regular padel players, it means a new place to play in Adelaide’s north. For anyone who has been curious about the sport, this could be the perfect time to give it a try.
A New Way to Play at Playford
Padel is typically played as doubles on an enclosed court, with the surrounding walls becoming part of the game. The result is plenty of rallies, quick exchanges and a strong social element.
The arrival of padel will expand the range of racquet sports available at Playford, where players can already enjoy tennis and pickleball.
Whether you’ve played before or will be holding a padel racquet for the first time, there will soon be another reason to head to the centre.
Be Among the First on Court
With the new courts getting closer, players can now join the Playford padel waitlist to receive updates about opportunities including free trials and match play.
