Two Days of Doubles Competition in Chatswood

The Pickleball Cup Sydney brought together players across a range of DUPR divisions, giving competitors the opportunity to face opponents of similar playing standards.

Saturday’s Men’s and Women’s Doubles events tested how well partnerships communicated, covered the court and adapted to different opponents.

With doubles pickleball, a successful partnership often depends on more than individual shot-making. Players need to coordinate their positioning, manage the middle of the court and recognise when to attack or defend.

Sunday’s Mixed Doubles competition added another five brackets, including two separate divisions for players rated DUPR 3.0–3.49.

The weekend gave players the chance to gain tournament experience, compete alongside their partners and put their skills to the test in a structured competitive setting.
